The SSV was also updated (new on left, old on right).

In this pic you can see the S2, S1, and Mazmart.

Well sadly the country we live in don't have specialists for the rotary at all. The only mechanics we have are the ones we've sorta trained by telling them what to do after extensively going through the forum. Technically we could do the work ourselves but they do it for us for a menial charge. Anywho time to figure this out

The coolant system pressure test is the same regardless of whether it's a piston or rotary engine, in other words, any mechanic worth their weight in salt should know what to do.

++ ^^

What he said. they basically put a special radiator cap on, that has a pressure hose comign out of it, and a gauge. They then pump air in to get it up around 8 to 10 psi. Then leave it. If the pressure drops, leak. If it does not drop, no leak.

Kit can be as simple as this
Amazon.com: Mityvac MV4560 Radiator/Cooling System and Pressure Test Kit: Automotive Amazon.com: Mityvac MV4560 Radiator/Cooling System and Pressure Test Kit: Automotive

Dude...How typically 'merican of you. The rest of the world uses Km and Celsius. Maybe you should have a look at the metric system

I live outside America. I use KMs and Celsius. I told him to switch to Fahrenheit because very few on this thread would actually bother to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, and give him a proper answer.

Go see Whitney Automotive in the Chantilly VA area (DC metro) if you are close. Well worth it.

Since his 8 is UK spec, I am guessing he is in the UK.

EDIT:

OP: Depending on what part of the UK you are in, a quick Google search is all that is needed.

That's a nice guess lol..

In his first post he mentioned he is in Pakistan.
Most likely imported the car from UK.

I was wondering why not directly import one from Japan? would have been cheaper in my opinion.

Cheers,

Yeah most people just import them from Japan. I live in Asia and I imported mine from Japan. That said, second hand cars in the UK are pretty cheap. I'm not sure if they're cheaper than Japan though. I would've imported mine from the UK too if it was available there.

I imported my car from the UK as JDM cars are limited to 189km/hr. Plus they're usually better maintained as we'll as being in a cooler climate

JDM cars are not limited to 189. I've hit 212km/h in my automatic.

You should do some reading friend. Anywho both my previous 8s were jdm and were limited to 189 and I had to get the limiter removed through the ecu

Hmm. Maybe some cars are limited. My car is a little weird anyway. It even has 2 oil coolers. Usually autos only have one.
