has anyone used one of these i bought one over a year ago and never used it til tonight it turns on only if he plug to the spark plug adapter is put in then it shuts off, i watched videos,,,,,bummer

it has a connector that feeds into the screw in socket of the engins spark plug

 

Does it have a 9V battery? Maybe the battery is almost dead?

 

i opend a new 9 volt. i was wondering maybe i should of screwed in the socket first then attcheched it to the box. its wierd cause once plug is detached it works but plug it in and it goes off and i press the power button. i think its faulty.

 

another wierd thimg is i had it up stairs and had all of it connected and it powered on. of course it wasnt connected to the car. i was looking at you tube videos, but hmm baffeld.

 

Can you rent those anywhere?

 

There are places thar you can rent them for Iike 4 days .. there om ebay mostly,

 

how did you solve the problem above? I think you just have to start the engine cranking by turning the key on and it then works?
