Replacing Button On Door Handle?
Hey all, I noticed about a month ago that the button on the door handle to unlock/lock the car was starting to tear. It finally came off a few days ago (fortunately in my hand) and I got by with using some electrical tape as a DIY fix.
Well, just came home from a drive and the rubber part is gone and the button's way down in the door handle so I can't even press it pretty dumb design if you ask me, only reason I can see putting it way down there is to keep it from rain or make it closer to a chip.
anyone know any DIY fixes for this? or where I can get a replacement button?
I did some searching and all I could find was one answer on one thread. "take it to the dealer"

For a replacement, have a look on Ebay. There seems to be a lot of vendors there selling RX8 parts and some actually seem quite reasonably priced. Just be careful of offshore sellers as they might be selling low-quality knock-off parts.
