My radio has these hicups, where it's muted for maybe a fraction of a second, and then continues. I have not found any relation to something, such as engine speed, or when I brake, or steer or anything. It just happens randomly, but every minute and it's quite annoying to listen to the radio. Otherwise the quality is really good.

I will try to play a CD tomorrow and see if it does the same, that way I can atleast rule out some fault in the antenna.

Does anyone have experience with this?

It's a 2004 model from the UK.

 

i had this too sometimes, never did figure it out. Someones my radio would freezes and the seek button wouldn't work only the volume weird stuff. I just bought an aftermarket unit eventually.
