I know this doesn’t belong here but it is asinine I can not post in any other forum and I need help. We have a Mazda 2008 rx8 and we replaced the steering rack back in April 2017. Well, it is now making the same noise again! How in the world can a second rack be failing?! There has got be something else going on. We cleaned all the connectors. I do not see how it could be a connector or computer issue as it is not throwing any codes or warning noises. Last time this noise occurred the power steering eventually failed but yet still no codes or warning signs thrown. Help! I am in Germany and my husband is deployed; i have read every forum I can on this issue but nothing discusses what is wrong if there are no codes or warning lights.
