I've searched around about the RB Rev8 cat back exhaust. I'm considering buying it but I know it weighs more than the stock exhaust, I think I saw someone on here say about 8 lbs more. Racing Beat claims a 3.5 HP gain. But does the added weight harm the car more than help? In other words is it ricey?

It is a high quality exhaust, it really only effects the sound of the car. If you are racing and need to save weight then I would look elsewhere, but if you going for the sound and looks it is fine. 8lbs is not a big difference if you are just having fun or it is a DD. So depending on what you are looking for it is fine. I am putting one on mine this summer because I want the deeper tone.
