I have two remotes that came with the car.
Both will open and lock doors and trunk as well as blow the horn.
I watched someone on YouTube (I know, I know ..) do a "reprogram".
It worked for a short time then it went back to not working.
At this point I am talking to a couple of lock smiths. One says that
I need to buy two new ones ($$$$). The other one thinks they can be saved.
Has anyone gone through this with success??
I forgot to add, they are the ones that look like a stack of credit cards glued together..
I did ask else where but, I still can not see thumbnail pictures??? All Black???

Have you checked the battery on the remotes. If they program and work they should stay working.

It is possible also that whatever else you are doing is loosing the identity of the remote after you have put it in

I guess I should have mentioned that the batteries are new.
I'm not sure that I am doing anything to disturb the remote's memory. (if it has one).
I don't think it does.
But, I did stay at a Holiday Inn last month.......

Now can you fix my black screen when I want to see a thumbnail photo???

 

Old threads have missing pictures... caused by links to pictures on external sites that dont work anymore..

Not a lot we can do about that
