Premix for the olfactory benefit

Anybody used Castrol R for premixing?
I would love the smell!

Details? I thought Castrol R was a brand not a specific type of oil.

be very careful about using castor based oils in rotaries, i think both cadtrol r and m are castor oil
Smells great, gums up engines great

Yes, costor oil based, as used in WW1 aircraft radial engines. I imagine it wouldn't go well in a modern rotary!

It works in Methanol ...the drag car engine uses it and it smells very organic when it's sitting on the 2 step 😎
