Hey I'm new to the RX8 community, only bought mine a couple days ago. So i wanted to know exactly how to premix my fuel when filling up and what type of oil i should be buying? I've been to super cheap but no one knew what oil i should use to premix.

 

idemitsu is what most people use. 8oz per tank of gas. its even better to use the sohn adapter. google both. ebay sells both but you can probably find it cheaper than ebay

Any JASO FC and ISO oils can be used, include Idemitsu, which 200mph mentioned above.

Just watched a video about premix in e85 from the misFire channel. Pretty small channel but good content. They’re Kiwi’s. They’re like FullBoost but way cool people. Not stuck up.
The premix debate has been around a long time. I stick with rotary specific premix but any Jaso rated FC or FD should be fine.

 

I use Lucas 2 Stroke. A fine choice if I’m honest.

here in Australia many oils are not available,
the Idemitsu is now available here via a facebook shop based in Brisbane I think,
