Possible tcc solenoid problem?

I don't really know where to go with this... The problem I have is my car dies in stop and go traffic. I have a 2004 at with a warranty replaced motor 3000 miles ago. The idle seems to be searching in stop and go traffic, it eventually dies and won't restart for about 20 mins. The car does fine on long trips but dies within 15 mins in city traffic. I contacted the previous owner who stated the tcc solenoid valve needed to be replaced. I can't seem to locate a part number or a place to purchase one. I have replaced the coils, plugs, wires, maf sensor, upstream/downstream o2 sensors. I had about 17 codes and now I think I'm done to 2 0740 and I think misfire on cylinder 1. Does this sound like a tcc problem. Let me know I'm about to drive this thing out to the desert and destroy it...

The idle hunting could be a vacuum leak which could also give you a P0301 (misfire) but the P0740 is the TCC circuit. Any competent transmission shop should be able to help you out with that issue. As for the hard hot start issue, a compression test is in order considering all the tune-up work you have already done.
