Please advise (new 2 forms ) steering issue

Hello I am relatively new to this.

So got my wheels tracking tested they was bang on perfect then asked my garage to look and test my steering system they said everything is fine bu.

I can feel its not.

Issue it's easier to turn the steering wheel left than right and it feels a little lose I am a new rx8 owner bought a 2007 mint no rust no issues 40k miles and love the car but unlike my mazda 6 I can't get comfortable or connected to the car as everything tells me there is something wrong. Its putting.me off the car as i want to drive it but I have this niggle saying cba with the tyerd arms or non stop feeling like I have to steering. I know its not a long hall driving car or as lux as a sadan but everyone gose on about it being the best to drive handle and stuff but what is this issue.

Issue it feels harder to turn right than left and pulls to the left. However tracking is perfect and a garage said its fine..

If you have time please help also I have a spar pair of halogen headlights if someone needs pm me there mint mint condition

Much thanks

They're pretty good as long distance cars, usually. Steering should be effortless at speed. Does the issue occur at low speed and high speed? Is it worse in one than the other? I wonder if you have a dragging brake that's causing the car to pull to one side, but that would only occur at speed. Can you get a second opinion at a different shop?

Hi, if your gauge said it's fine then you'll need a 4 wheel alignment to get every thing back to spec.
I had a similar issue with my rx8, the caster was set above 7 degrees on the left and 6.5 on the right, and this was the problem.
And after that if you still have the problem then I would ask the tyre shop to check your age of tyre.
It could be old rubber causing a disconnect felling, as it is the point of contact with the road.
How is your tyre pressure set at? mine is 40psi in front and 38psi in rear.

hope this helps

I drive 8-9 hours in my 05 and it is quite comfortable to me. Stop for fuel and restroom and back to Zoom-Zoom!
If you can, jack front of car up and steer both ways. If easy both ways set on ground and try again. Drive and see if
as Loki said does it improve at speed.
