WA Plastic undercarriage

I have a 2005 RX8, and as I'm working on it, I noticed the plastic undercarriage under the front of the car is beginning to crack, break, and hang.

Should I rip it off, seal/tape it back on, or buy a new one? Its really annoying me.

Any help would be great thanks everyone!

No harm in trying to seal/tape it back up. If that fails to produce the intended results, then replace it. I wouldn't advise ripping it off; it's part of the cars aerodynamics and facilitates the movement of air through the radiator. It also protects the radiator from road debris.

It needs to be there. There are some metal options, SARX has one but I'm not sure if they sell it, and another guy has one on his website.

If you can tape it up temporarily i say go for it. Using it as a template for new one would be a good option as well.

Thanks buddy. I will get it back together. I have some good sealant and gorilla tape. I will jack the car up tomorrow and fix it. I appreciate your feedback thank you.

Thank you, I will get it back on track. I think with some deep care with sealant and gorilla tape, it should be okay. I appreciate the help, thank you.

I'm getting a new one from Mazda tomorrow along with new shocks and struts, so that will take care of that problem.
