Panic Alarm Randomly Going Off

Panic Alarm Randomly Going Off
3 days ago, I purchased a 2005 RX-8 Shinka. Last night my panic alarm went off 3 separate times for no reason. The times were about an hour apart and I woke my neighbor up and I felt terrible. I don't know if I have an aftermarket alarm or if it's factory. The alarm has even gone off when I leave it unlocked. I've tried manually locking the doors and it still goes off randomly. I'd like to just disable the alarm all together, but haven't found anything on how to do that. I am able to turn the alarm off with the fob. Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

Check for an aftermarket alarm. The stock one usually doesn't have a shock sensor (optional) and that's usually what trips
where is the key?? Most common is panic button pushed by accident.
if it is an aftermarket alarm...they tend to be easily triggered. Maybe adjust the sensitivity and see if that helps. Otherwise you likely have a door or trunk switch that is not working properly...

I've checked for a sensitivity adjustment and I couldn't find anything under the dash on the passenger or the driver side. Is there any other way to check if I have an aftermarket alarm system? I'd rather just take it out all together. I'm positive I'm not accidently pushing the panic button, cause the keys are sitting on a counter. If it is the trunk or door switches not working, should I get them replaced or what?
