Hey.
2004 runs with a misfire, flashing engine light and fresh fuel smell. Runs normal when engine light stays on. Accelerates as if fuel has been building when the engine light stops flashing. These are the codes that came up and wondered if there is any trouble to look at first that might cause all three of these to occur at once. Plugs were changed a few months ago if that makes any difference. Thanks.

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tec...t-here-222280/ for your "300" codes

And have you checked your cat converter? MAF sensor? Do you have any mods? When was the last time you changed coils and wires?

I'd say a clogged cat is the culprit...
