Oil Cooler Fittings

Evening,

After an inspection of the wheel arches and front this weekend i noticed most of the oil cooler lines were corroded and literally falling to bits, so just wondering if anyone had made their own pipes up instead of buying the rather costly sets available?

Does anyone happen to know the size and amount of the compression fittings needed and the hose that goes with it as i don't want to get the wrong size, cheers.

The oil cooler fittings and the front cover fitting and pil pedestal fitting are M18x1.5 thread. Usually you use a -10 or 5/8 SAE male fotting with angles -10 fittings as needed to point them in the correct sirection.

I like the black nylon covered hose... much easier than the SS -10 stuff and not much more money
The stuff isnt cheap though. If you cost out the parts... and then look at the Racing Beat kit pr the Mishimoto kit they arent as expensive as at first glance.

Not sure where you are located, but if you have a Parker Store nearby, they can make up custom lines. They are usually reasonably priced.
