Odd squeal/rattle from left side of engine bay
NOTE - not referring to the SSV ticking I know about that -
I have found this intermittent squeal/rattle that’s new to me and have been having some trouble pin pointing it as it comes and goes as it pleases.
I can only hear it when stopped or in a drive through but can’t get a set idea of it’s exact spot as it never stays long enough to pin point and just comes whenever it feels like it. What I do know is that rpm doesn’t affect it (at least between idle and 2.5k rpm) and doesn’t happen on start up
I hope maybe one of you may be able to guide me to the solution or maybe a specific area or component to touch to see if sound goes away on touch… Thanks in advance
-edit- Only noticed it 3 days ago and I’m confident it is new

Is it a constant sound or cyclic? Left side of engine bay meaning seen from the front, or sitting in the car? Is the car left hand or right hand drive?
The video isn't super helpful unfortunately, bit of a Blair Witch rotary experience .

Left side sitting in driver seat
Its not constant or on a cycle, it just randomly comes and goes, on my way home from work later in the day it didn’t happen once and I waited for it… I did spend some time looking after I originally posted and I’m gonna do some digging but I wonder if it could be my fan? I have some mishimoto fans I installed 2 years ago but I have doubts since they still so new.
I have some basic experience with the 8 (besides building a rotary) I have done a lot of small trouble shooting but this is the first noise I haven’t been able to pin point, it does sound like some piece of metal, but I pushed around every part that could be and I wasn’t getting any movement, I have ruled out a vibration between condenser and rad, control arm area, could be’s are possibly a pulley (brake pump) fan bearing, could even be an exhaust hanger bouncing in the rubber but sounds to close to the front to be, I’ll do more digging after work tomorrow, it just keeps going away when I look under and then come back when I turn around lol
