Thumbs up No sign of vacuum on my 8

I have checked if I can feel the vacuum from the SSV, VDI and the APV vacuum pipes but I felt nothing. My car fails when it goes up hill and it refs up to 4k rpm. It has low power when engaged on first and second gear and accelerate a bit when engaged on the third going forward. Sometimes it produces white smoke then later disappears. it can give me a surprise by having the power I am used to when on motion but it does not last for 100m.

Can someone help me on what I should do.

White smoke is typically a sign of coolant leaking into your combustion chamber. Could you provide some more information on the car? Year, miles, maintenance?

My 8 is for 2004 and done 125k. I have recently overhauled the engine.
