Newer R3 headlights on a 2004?

Hi this is my first post on here. The previous owner of my rx8 tinted the headlights beyond belief (The job was also half assed to there are ripples in the tint) and it's hard to see on back roads. Instead of replacing them with my stock ones i was looking for an upgrade, but no one makes after market headlight for the rx8. Does anyone know if the newer R3 headlights will just bolt up to my car?

The headlights I want

In short, no. The R3 headlight design is different and you cannot fit it on the car.
But what you can do, is buy a R3 front bumper, R3 front fenders and then you can get and install the R3 headlights.
Now i do not know about the wiring or power input, someone more knowledgeable here will give you more details.

But here i have some ideas for you. Either remove the tint and polish your headlights or get a replacement set.
If you are interested in getting a better lighting for dark roads, you could get Xenon lights. But that's bit more expensive plus complicated.
You would need to buy the headlight washer and install them yourself, or get a front bumper with the washers installed.
Then perhaps some additional wiring should be made, but i could be wrong.
WARNING: the headlight washers are factory installed poorly. One of my washer flew of at highway speed. Make sure they are secure in place.

Or you could try and install some custom LED lights in your original headlights. Though i'm not sure how the law is stated about modifications in your country.
Here in Croatia, it's illegal to have LED front fog lights, but i installed the LEDs anyway, because they are waaaay brighter in the fog.

Okay, thank you. I was more looking for a different headlight design, something that just looked better than the stock headlights with the grey plastic in them. Unfortunately I don't have the best budget for the car so buying a completely new front end and doing a face lift would be a little too pricey for me. Unless I find a r3 that is parting out but those chances are slim to none. Here leds mostly illegal but cops really don't care that much and unless they're gonna take my bumper off to check, there really no other way they can know.

Just take the tint off the headlights and install the carbon fiber accents. I think they look pretty sharp and only cost like $30.
