Howdy folks, I'm pretty new to these boards but I was surfing them for a while before I ended up buying my 2008 Pearl-White RX8 and officially signing up. I actually just did a custom audio install that bypassed the crappy standard stereo system (I use my Samsung Tab 2 as my head unit now) and I wanted to post a simple "how-to" over in series-i-interior-audio-electronics-24/.

Unfortunately I don't have the privileges necessary to do so, and I was wondering how I would go about acquiring that access.

You need at least 10 posts AND at least 30 days as a member. The posts go by the number under your name to the left of your post here, so you have 1 to your credit. You meet the days, so wander around other audio threads or the multimedia section and comment on topics you can assist with, ask questions, provide feedback on someone else's work, etc... you know...participate!

You can hit it fairly quickly without just spamming the board. Once you hit that 10, it may take up to an hour for the forum to auto-promote you after your next log-on, so log off, then back on, and go have dinner or something if you can't immediately.

 

I've seen a bunch of navigation hood mods but none with a great how to. Would enjoy reading that
