ON 2007 RX-8 GT, 60k KM, expected compression results?

Hi, I just went to check out my first RX-8. Asked the questions that were suggested in the newbies thread (and then some). Everything looks good but i'm insisting on a compression test. What should my expected compression be? The deal is essentially dependant on the compression test coming out positive or negative. Is there a suggested minimum result? I read the manual and it says 10.0 but i'm assuming it would be lower. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the help! Unfortunately about 30 seconds after i spoke to the mechanic, I got a call from the seller stating he had just sold the car for ~$1000 more than I was offering. Again, thanks for quick and very helpful response!
