Newbe saying hello

Evening all..

Just joined up. Its good to see a good healthy forum with lots of help. I own a 2004 192 in blue. Standard other than a de cat system and a k and n panel filter. I also fitted a 6 speed gear box and that it self transformed the drive
By far not the quickest car ive owned as most of my other cars have been turbo'd but its most deffo the best looking car and brill fun to drive..

Look forward to hearing from you guys as i got a couple of questions and im not sure weather to ask in the new b section or wait till i can post in the proper sections..

Cheers

Welcome!

Ditch the K&N filter for an OEM one. The OEM one can flow enough air for the 450hp Rolex 3-rotor RX-8s, and the race teams used the OEM filter because it really is that good. The K&N filter is known to be inferior filtration, to the point that engine damaging debris can get through it. Years ago race teams were losing engines due to sand getting past K&N filters, went back to OEM and the engine damage stopped.
