Hey guys. I'm a new owner and have to thank you all for many an interesting read on here during my research into this beast of a car!

My main purpose of getting hold of an RX8 is to convert it into Lightning McQueen from Cars for charity events etc. Not everyone's cup of tea, but there you go.

I'm currently looking into having my bumper custom made into the smile from the car, but obviously need to take a few things into consideration. The radiator vent at the front will be reshaped into the open mouth and the fog lights will be removed and the vents potentially filled in. However, I know this would block my oil cooler vents at the front. I live in the UK so it's not exactly Texas here for heat, so was wondering on taking a few opinions on this step. Let me just put my tin hat on first guys before you fire your opening shots..

Thats the plan! But is this a car that's in use as such? I'll still be driving it around so it still needs to be practical. That size mouth should be fine for venting however right.. And cats, dogs getting in etc.. Haha.
