hi all, been lurking for about a year now reading everything about owning a rx8, comparing it to various other 4 seater coupes and i kept coming back to the rx8, so 3 months ago i made up my mind and picked one up, its an 09 r3. i absolutely love this car, i get the biggest boner everytime i jump in her, some of the things i dont like about the one i got is the previous owner put vertical doors on it, (i am going through the process of putting it back to stock) the tails have water in them which seems to happen a lot with these guys, and the plastic seat inserts are missing, havent seen the dealership about getting new ones yet. a few other small things that i will address. i am still going through the list changing fluids etc. i will be going to rhineharts meet up next month i hope to see some of ya there.

Tails are not hard. There is a DIY, basically pull, drain out light hole, dry, then seal the light hole up correctly.

I agree on swaping the doors back.
