Thumbs up New ownership-New membership

I had recently purchased an 04 rx8 and I love it thus far! I feel as this car needs more attention, it betters me in an owner and driver. This forum helped a lot while i considered purchasing this vehicle and continues to help now that i do own the car. I look forward to becoming a full member of this forum in due time, but in the mean time, keep up the great threads sports fans!

Where's the pics of the car? What color? 04. Hmmm, let me guess. Velocity Red? Or did you get the elusive Lightning Yellow?

Did you get a rotary engine compression test BEFORE your purchase? What is the mechanical condition of your engine and other critical parts like cooling system, ignition system, electricals, exhaust, brakes, cat. Those are all critical areas that can cost you a lot of money to take care of on a used '04 RX8. Did you have the chance to read the new owners' link? If yes, great, if not please read that ASAP, Ok, Welcome

How does the car run since you upgraded the ignition system and what not? And since you did do that, your next move should be to take it to a dealership for a rotary compression test just to see where your engine stands before you throw anything else on it

Welcome,

And welcome to the 04 club. The first is always the best...

If you did plugs and coils and radiator, you should not have any issues with the stuff in the Congrats thread below. It is based on what I learned in the first year or so with mine and it really helped with a lot of things.

Again, welcome.
