New 8 Owner!
Hello all!
I'm a little late to the party but I'm here nonetheless! And I'm excited to be here. I've been reading the new/potential owner post relentlessly, as well as some others.
I just bought (4 days ago) a 04 '8' (6-sp MT) used but in near perfect condition with 66k miles on it. All stock as well. I'm very excited to start working on it and doing all the maintenance that comes with it. And to be apart of this amazing community! I was wondering, how is the community nowadays?
I also live in Northern California and saw a blue '8' on the way to work today and that's what pushed me to make my first post. Because it would be awesome to make a new friend with the same car as I.
Anyway hope you all have had a nice day!

I highly recommend the AEM CAI being your first mod. After a couple thousand miles. So you get used to the stock sound. I just installed the AEM on my 05 and the sound change is incredible. Describing it in one word. Aggressive. Of course its not for a HP gain but just the sound difference is worth it. And the BHR under tray would be a good addition. Or you could fabricate your own. I just don't like the stock under tray. Have fun with your 8 man!
