Need Help Tracking Down Mystery Wire

I've been a terrible owner and have neglected a cut wire since I've owned my 8. It is near the passenger headlight and runs between the ECU housing, coolant bottle, and the frame. The ground wire is cut near the gray clip that the wire connects to. I don't have any check engine lights, all lights work on that side as far as I can tell, and I haven't noticed anything not functioning properly.

Any idea what it could be?

That is the coolant level sensor connector.

Thanks for the quick reply 9k. Any suggestions on what I should do? If it's just a binary sensor (coolant low/coolant normal), could I not just splice it back together without risking adding too much resistance to the circuit?

Yeah when it's unplugged or not working the light doesn't come on. Splice it back together and you should be good. Disconnect the negative terminal before doing the work.

It is likely you will get a low coolant light when this is fixed.
Just check the coolant, then you will likely unplug the connector.

You can read up on the coolant bottle later
