I'm thinking of buying a rx8 it's a 2004 2.6 231 60,000 miles. It's had a new starter motor fitted is there anything I should ask or check .. Alot of peaple have told me to stay away from rx8 because they are prone to engine problems and need rebuilts is that true. Also When I do a check it says 1.3 and not 2.6 is that correct sorry for all the questions cheers

Short answer, yes they have engine issue's, yes they require rebuilds, and yes 1.3L is correct 2.6 is not, also that their are SEVERAL other questions you should be asking and can be found in the thread above.
