I have a 04 rx8 6 speed. When it's sitting and in first gear it won't shift out of first without a lot of force,but once it's moving shifts freely all but for a small grind going into 2nd... was looking around and seen that it may have a bent shift fork,but I'm not sure any help would be great.

probably a syncro, its pretty common. some people have had luck masking it by changing to a better trans fluid
