I just installed new plus coils wires starter and battery. I bought the car last month because it was flooded and kid put holes in catalytic converter. After I replaced everything car fired up instantly. I let it warm up and drove a mile or two and when I got home I shut it off and now it won’t start again. As if it flooded already. Any ideas?

 

UPDATE—— I just went outside and it fired right up. Did it twice and no issues. Maybe because I haven’t changed catalytic converter yet... IDK my first rotary. I have had 20 or so mustangs and wanted something different

 

Likely low compression. The car will start easily cold but not start when the engine is at operating temperature. Would need to do a compression test to know for sure. Any engine codes?

 

Only code is from the O2 sensor being unplugged. Tried to swap out catalytic converter but one but stripped so I quit till tomm lol
