My rx8 sont go over 5000rpm
hi i having trouble with my rx8 is a ‘04 manual i have a p2070 code and before that a p2069
i check all the solenoids and i clean my ssv valve
plugs, spark plugs and coils changed 1 year ago
the fuel pump is new.
i dont know what else to look before taking it to the dealership and make a compression test
Any clue?

How many miles have you put on those new coils in a year?

So, CEL, no codes, and Traction Control light is on.....
Um, check all your battery connections, and all the ground connections, specifically the one under the battery box and air intake. There is a chance something is pissed electrically, and until you troubleshoot that, you could be chasing the wrong problem. FYI, the SSV detector is on the SSV, it is a switch between the SSV and the body of the engine. If it is not triggered properly, it will tell the computer that the SSV is not working. If it does that, I am not sure how the computer will respond.
The test there is to disconnect the wires, open the SSV by hand, and see if the signal changes. I seem to recall that removing the air pump gave me room to get in there. Small hands help.
