How did you check the solenoid? Have you watched the SSV cycle?

No when you turn the key to the on position the valves cycle. So go watch the SSV and have someone turn the key.

VVS? You can check the check valve easily. Removed the intake and see if the TB is cycling. I doubt it is a TB issue though.

Do you still have the error codes? Does the car still think the SSV is hosed?

So, CEL, no codes, and Traction Control light is on.....

Um, check all your battery connections, and all the ground connections, specifically the one under the battery box and air intake. There is a chance something is pissed electrically, and until you troubleshoot that, you could be chasing the wrong problem. FYI, the SSV detector is on the SSV, it is a switch between the SSV and the body of the engine. If it is not triggered properly, it will tell the computer that the SSV is not working. If it does that, I am not sure how the computer will respond.

The test there is to disconnect the wires, open the SSV by hand, and see if the signal changes. I seem to recall that removing the air pump gave me room to get in there. Small hands help.
