My RX-8 Won't Start

I just got out of class, and when I tried to turn on my car the starter didn't engage. I checked the relay and it seems fine. This happened once before a couple weeks ago, but it started working again and I thought nothing of it. Any ideas?

Check the clutch neutral safety switch at the very top of clutch pedal (near firewall).
Take a paperclip bend it and jump the two wires together, then try to start it

Check under the car and make sure the starter solenoid wire hasn't fallen off.......

Alright, I got it started by pushing in the clutch lockout switch manually and drove it home. I then shut off the car and tried to start it that way again and it didn't work. I sadly didn't have a paperclip onhand to jump the circuit. I'll fiddle with it some more tonight, but I'm fairly sure it's the clutch lockout switch. Thanks for the help guys!
