That Cobb AP seems like a pretty intense investment. What sort of function can it preform other than reflashing? I am not sure about turbo charging my 8 or really trying to push it so I don't know how much use it would really be to me. I also don't dyno it, as of now it is a daily driver first, performance sports car second... for now

SOLVED

20 Break Stomp in 8 seconds did the trick. It was an intense moment watching the revs climb, and my heart dropped a bit when I heard the oh so sweet sounding beep and no CEL flashing in my face. I did this several times up and down the road, I redlined her about 4-5 times and she did so with a beautiful roar that I never had an opportunity to appreciate until now. So with a huge smile on my face, and an rpm gauge reaching ~9.5k rpm, my problem was solved thanks to you folk and this forum.

Why I think this solved my probelm- The engine had been swapped before I bought the car, and I have to assume they did not reset the ESS.

Now that I know how much *** she can haul, I am going to start making her look just as epic.

Thank you all again, I am very please with the thourough-ness and helpfulness of this forum, and I am happy to be apart of it.
