Hello I have a 2004 mazda rx8 with 130 miles on it but it has a warranty engine on it the car turns over but it then turns off what i think it is is that its not receiving gas can you please help thank you also i change the starter on the car also a like six months ago i change the ignition and coils but please i need help

 

Your post isn't clear.

You say that it shuts off, but also that it doesn't start. It can't shut off unless it starts. Never starting is very very different set of problems than shutting off after it's started.

Does it fire up at all? spark, fuel, combustion, noise...?
Or just it just crank, and not start?

 

it turns on then turns off we figured out that it wasnt getting gas so we checked out and the mechanic came just switched two fuse around and the car now runs but he went to the fuel pump and realized it was leaking gas do you know anyway to fix that

 

Replace the fuel pump. Sounds like the root problem is fuel pressure drop, from the leak.

 

If you have a leak, I would get the entire assembly. Several places carry it.

There are tips on how to change it, and a tool that can make it easier. Many places sell both. I did it the hard way, but was broken down at the track.
