Just hit the 100000 mark

Just recently purchased at 05 rx8 sunlight silver
already put 1000 miles on it
Got it at 99000
Best time I've had driving in my life always got a smile on my face but also first "fast car" I've ever owned

Any advice to keep it going longer now that I've hit deaths door?
I've had no issues and I'm going to get a fan control kit and water temp gauge to keep a better eye on temps but anything to help keep my temps down? Sometimes my heat gauge will go to the halfway point then back down and it scares me every time lmao. Also it has a "limited edition" symbol on the side that I'm not sure if I should peel off yet. Any advice helps thank you so much

Nice, welcome.
Your coolant light is on in that picture, so I'd be careful with that, especially if your temperature gauge is doing strange things. These engines do not tolerate even mild overheating.
The car should be able to manage heat fine in the weather pictured, so before mods, I would make sure both fans are working, that it has the correct coolant (ideally Mazda FL-22, absolutely NO ADDITIVES), the coolant isn't too old, and the system holds pressure and that the undertray is in place to force air into the radiator.

That's not an original limited edition badge, no such thing was made

Otherwise you really really want to read rx8help.com, especially the New & Potential Owners pages. It's info on what to watch out for compiled from this forum for easy reading.
