So, back story. I got a 1997 rx7 from a guy a few years ago. Long story short I sold it.
But when he got an rx8 he thought of me, and called me. The rx8 has always been my favorite car, so I bought it.

Here's the thing, the front end is destroyed. It looks like it hit a light pole.
I've got no problem doing what it takes to fix it, but I don't have an undamaged car to compare the front end.

So if someone could show me detailed pics of their radiator, radiator support, bumper support, behind the bumper support, hood latch, and whatever else. I'd greatly appreciate it.

 

That frame is goners. You are better off buying a running RX-8.

 

Yeah. What you have there is a parts car.

There are lots of build threads on this forum with detailed photos of the front end for you to verify yourself.

 

The back up plan is to get one that needs an engine, or something and drop the low miles well maintained one out of this into it. I drove this car here like that tbh.
I'm not going to throw a lot of time or money at it, I just want to see if I can do it before I buy a second one.

 

I'm not getting my hopes up on getting it to work, but I wanna try first.

And I'll check the forums, it's just that my only source of internet is spotty 3g I can use maybe 3 times a day.
So I was just saying if anyone could just post the pics that would be cool.
