Just got an 8 but not sure for how long...

I just came across a low mileage (32k) Pearl white 06 GT Sport, all the bells and whistles but not sure how long I will have it. The wife says it isn't practical and we don't have enough room to keep it as a toy. So you guys may be seeing a good deal in classifieds before too long!

No kids yet but has anyone here ever put a car seat in the back?

It's impractical in the sense that marriages have ended when someone was forced to choose between car and wife. So. I mean.. yeah.

But the child seats fit fine

happy wife is a happy home!! and maybe me having to keep the seat all the way back is one reason it looks tight.

Who knows, may be able to talk some sense into her after I take her for a ride.

My kids grew up in my 8, monthly road trips to my parents 170 miles away, room was never an issue. Miles of smiles. She (my RX-8) will be 12 next month.

Put my lil bros car seats in the back all the time when they were younger. Worked great. They were always stoked to be in big bros car

It's the only sports car that will easily handle 2 kids with a booster seat that's why I got it everything else is much harder..no suicide doors. However a new born car seat won't fit so well. The 8 can be a second car next to your family and sounds like you have a good one..try to keep it anyone can pull into a school parking lot in a SUV but how is great is it to arrive in an 8!...best of luck )

My 6' 17 year-old has managed just fine in the back seat for trips up to 2 hours. I'm sure I could easily fit a car seat back there for my 2 year-old. This is the most practical sports car for families that I can recall.
