Oh man, super awkward moment when I read RIWWP's post and then realized that I forgot to mention that I was talking about bhp as opposed to whp... No wonder why you guys thought I was trolling! My bad guys!! Sorry for the misunderstanding, totally my fault...

Live some and learn some...

You're not going to get 350 whp OR bhp in an AT without spending more than the value of the car.

Hey I'm getting somewhere now! No longer impossible, just ridiculous! Alright so... 300 is better?

Yes you can but it will still cost more than the value of the car.

Has any A/T gotten over the 300 hump? I know some have gotten close.

You'd be better off buying one of the V8-swapped RX-8s; it'll likely be more reliable and give smoother power delivery. That LS6 I linked to earlier looks pretty awesome.

Phil's 8 got 266 on a 4 port supercharging. There's no reason why a 6 port auto couldn't tap 300 at the wheels

Hey now we're getting somewhere! I'm not talking 300 at the wheels though, maybe another day. I'm looking to get 300 at the crankshaft

Boosting the auto doesn't make much sense to me =/

Would be interested to see what exactly its capable of, though.

Well the reason why I don't have a manual car is because I couldn't find one in really good condition for sale within a reasonable distance from where I live. Over the three months I spent looking for a used RX-8, the automatic I bought was really the best option for me. Costed me 11k, 63000 miles on it, no accidents, everything was in great condition.

Besides, I like the paddle shifters

Already been done, not impressive.

That "Cost" is over priced.
