Idle problems

So a buddy and I just changed the coils, plugs, and wires I'm his rx8. (2005,76K miles, and manual.) now we are running into the problem that it dies when left idling. Checked all the connections and everything seems fine. Any ideas?

Did it do this before the ignition replacement?

The most likely problem then is that you introduced a vacuum leak when you pulled/reinstalled the intake. Start going back over the intake for loose vacuum lines or intake clamps that aren't secure. Remember there is one under the air box, a few next to the air box, some on the accordion, etc...

If not that, then check the MAF connection, see if it got dirty.

If you disconnected the battery, do the 20 stomps on the brake pedal.
