I think I found the reason my front struts are so low.


I think the bottom platic guard is missing and the top one too. Oh and I think it's upside down. SMH. Whatcha think ?

I think those springs aren't for an RX8.

I believe those are cheap ebay springs, so another part of the problem.

i think the biggest problem is just barely in picture however. Dude, did you really buy and are now dumping tons of time and money into an Rx8 with more rust than the remains of the titanic?

Yeah, judging by all that rust, and the degraded rubber bits, and the probable eBay springs, and fact that those shocks don't age well anyway, methinks replacing the struts en toto is the way to go. A set of Bilstein B14 PSS coilovers with new bushings and spring seats would fix that right up and ride better than factory.

Too bad the red spray painted calipers didn't last.

OP, where do you live, and what has that poor car been through?
