i have this gap problem

Soo i got my rx8 for salvage with a clean title because of light front end damage but the damage barely got past the bumper bar i took ot because it was a good deal lower miles but yeah anyways i got a new bumper from a junk yard that came off a fire car but was just warped a bit i got the warp out now im running into another problem when i test fit the bumper i noticed a huge gap between the hood and the bumper and that the hood is a little crooked so i cant tell if the hood is my problem or the bumpers still in bad condition (btw i just test fitted the bumper its not bolted just sitting on the rebar which that might be it but i doubt it i have it tight to the fenders) anyways im not body mechanic idk if im missing something or anything like that the hood also doesnt seem to be warped by eye when its open so i think its just the way its resting anyone got any tips?

The warp was in the center on the passanger side of the mazda emblem for those with good eyes can see the hood is higher on the passanger side like by a half inch the driver side is sunk about a half inch and the bumper is about a inch and a half away from the hood i thought it was the way i put the latch on but idk im lost.

It might very well be hinge damage. Those two black rubber stoppers above the bumper can be screwed in/out to adjust hood settling height. If that doesn't work it's definitely the hinges.
