i bought an rx that they ran synthetic???
so i just recently bought an rx8 that they had apparently ran synthetic in, after my purchase while reading my need to know info (which i am still wading thru).i read that synthetic is bad so what should i do i know normally you cant go back to regular oil. so i know ive probably missed the answer. but whats my best move?
this is a car ive wanted since they first came out, and this isn't a dream one its going to be work, id be surprised, very surprised if it sees the road this year. but i need a bit more help from knowledgeable sources.

Not a Problem
No need to worry. You can continue using synthetic or you can switch to regular motor oil; it's no big deal. You can even mix the two if you choose. As a matter of fact if you do switch back to regular you'll be mixing them at first as at least half of the synthetic will remain in the oil coolers.
So take your choice synthetic or dino. 5W20, 0W30, 10W40 or 20W50 ... it's up to you. All will serve you well, just faithfully change the oil and filter at regular intervals; many RX8club.com members recommend every 3,000 miles. Remember that not only does the oil in the sump lubricate the engine, but it is also directly injected into the combustion chambers to lubricate the seals. Nobody wants filthy, dirty contaminated oil injected into the innermost parts of their engine.
