Angry How bad can this be

Ok here goes. I bought a 2005 a/t rx8 in June and it turns out it needed a rebuilt transmission and then soon after engine. Since I felt the transmission shop gave me a good deal on the transmission I figured they would be good to work with on the engine turns out not!) They hired what they called a Mazda guy to work on taking the engine out, and putting the new one back in.

According to them they had to order the engine, which was a rebuild by OJ imports with new rotor housings, and they marked it up... a lot. Their “Mazda” mechanic took a long time putting the engine back in. I had asked then to install a sohn adapter, which they did, but one day I stopped in after they had been running the engine only to find they put no oil in the adapter reservoir! I told them to add premix into the gas at that point..

I get the car back last Wednesday, and I drove it to and from work which was ok, but I didn’t push it. I noticed a P0270 come up, but it wasn’t confirmed so I didn’t think much until the next day when it would start and stall right away (now P2070 and P0410)

Now I looked under the hood for the first time, only to find they connected lines from the jet air nozzle and oil chamber to the accordion, but not the oil injectors! They also hooked up the solenoid wires wrong black-blue-white. I tried pushing the car over 5k rpm today, and it stuttered just like my old 0 compression rotor 2 engine did! Now the thing won’t start-praying it’s just flooded.

I planned to take it to Mazda for a compression test, but now I’m forced to have them fix their screw ups under their warranty.

Question to the community, how likely is my new engine toasted?

Also forgot to mention I have a new cat too.
