Hello, I am the new owner of a 2004 RX-8! I'm doing lots to get back into showroom shape right now. One of the things the previous owner did was remove the "RX-8" badge from the trunk lid, so I ordered a new one. Trouble is, I can't find the dimensions for putting it back on the trunk anywhere! I've searched through all this forum and the service manuals and got nothing! Does anyone know where I can find this information? Or is anyone willing to run out to their RX-8 with a ruler and measure out the dimensions themselves? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I did my own measurements just in case someone stole my badge

Distance between trunk edge and the lower edge of the R logo - 2.5cm
Edge of the R logo to the right edge of the trunk at the trunk's lower edge line - 16.5cm.

Pretty similar to big Cajun's numbers.
