Hello all, I'm looking into purchasing my first RX8. I'm currently in Pennsylvania but I'm moving to Austin for college, I've pretty much picked out the RX8 I am going to buy when I fly down there late August. The 2004 Grand-Touring Automatic, I know the automatic is a less powerful version but I'm a relatively new driver and I don't want to buy a manual car in a populated city like Austin as my first "fully owned" car.

Anyway, before I make the purchase I'd like to get the car checked out by a mechanic who is very familiar with rotary engines (I'd prefer not to take it to a Mazda dealership) I've been told to look for independant certified Mazda mechanics. Does anyone here know of any preferably directly in the Austin area, I'd rather not have to go down to Round Rock or a surrounding city. Thanks for all your help!
