I picked up my 04, 6 m/t rx8 a week ago with 56k miles and have a few questions. Im not new to the car scene by any means, but totally new to the rotary/mazda scene. although it is my first 6 speed RWD car. First question is, can someone tell me exactly what color my car is? And second, how do I find out the model such as if its a GT or not? thanks guys, Really looking forward to keeping this car a while and modding the **** out of it!

Not sure about the color balance in those pictures and my screen. The hood looks like a different color, too.

If it's black, then it's Brilliant Black, AF3. If it's dark green, then Nordic Green Mica, 27C. The code should be in the door jamb.

For the model, the specs for all of the years are in a sticky in one of the forums. You need to match up features like type of seat material, sun roof, radio, key type, etc. Not always easy. If you take a shot at it, then post what you've got and what doesn't make sense, there are folks who can help.

cool, thanks ken! Its the picture that makes the hood and bumper look different. Nordic Green it is! Im thinking about dipping the emblems and wheels bronze. I think those colors will go good together. Thanks brother
