Help with Modding my Best friends Rx8
What's up? Looking for some help modding my best friends 8. He passed away 2 years ago and I was lucky enough to buy his car. So it means alot to me as much as it did to him. Im wanting to get it into some shows. Right now i will be upgrading the following. Engine rebuild, coilovers, sohn pump, intake, exhaust system, upgrade the coil pack and the radiator. Any other recommendation on fans. Or any thing else? Im new to the rotary but i have learned alot thanks to this forum. Any help will be awesome. I want it all to be as new as possible.

That's a good starting point for sure. What sort of shows? Most of those mods are important but invisible as show material. Is the engine low on compression? If it doesn't need a rebuild, you might be better to just leave it alone.
Admirable goals. But drop the Stage 2 thing, that means nothing

Car shows. In memory of him. Thanks for the input. I know those are invisible at shows but everyone knows its what is under the hood thay counts haha. I have an awesome idea for the cosmetics just want it at top preformance before i start on cosmetics. It has the typical hot start issue. Right now it wont even start -.-. The starter is the only thing wanting to start it just spins. I just had the clutch replaced 2 weeks ago it has ran great up until now. the hot start wasnt as bad with the new starter. So i just assumed i need to rebuild the engine.

Also helps to get a proper compression test done. Remember, you need to either go to a dealership or a rotary shop for this.
