Okay so just got an 8. When I got it I knew it needed a clutch. After a few days it stopped starting so it got a new battery new alternator set up. Started just fine. After that I put an organic exedy clutch in it and now it will start cold however after it warms up starting is an issue. I feel as if its flooding, maybe an MAF issue? Looking for advice

 

Could it be the rear O2 sensor? Also it has new plugs and coils just put in my self. It is throwing a cylinder 2 CEL after I clear it it doesn't come back

 

Hopping it isn't compression

what year is ur 8? if it's the S1, upgrade the starter to the 2kw ones. Might be also because of compression, to be sure have it tested.

 

You must insist on a rotary-specific compression test, before you purchase any RX-8.

i had a starting issue on my 05 rx8 sometimes it started and sometimes it didn't i tried turning it on with different ways but didn't work then I tried turning the key in the on position (as always) when the bipping sound stopped I pressed the clutch all the way in and brake and it starts now.... every time I'm going to start it I repeat the process and it starts at the first time
