hello, I need some input

Hello,
I have a 6-speed 2005 RX8 with 140,440 miles.
Awhile ago I've had a code come on that's P0410 which is the Secondary Valve Air System. I've replaced the pump itself, and the CEL came back on but this time for the SSV valve bank 1, code was P2070. And that time the o2 sensor upstream CEL came on also. And since then I've replaced the o2 sensor a couple of days ago. After I replaced it that, I put some seafoam into the brake booster vacuum line. So now the 2070 CEL is off completely but the 0410 CEL is back on. But it doesn't initially come back on after I've cleared the check engine light with the OBD reader. The pump itself sounds like it's coming, but doesn't come on for long, maybe 10 seconds at most.
I'm thinking I might have to replace the SSV but I wanted to get some ideas before I start tearing into it.

Thanks

Sounds like the SSV is definitely due for a cleaning/replacement.
The air pump code coming back is a bit weird. Perhaps the air pump relay is unable to mantain contact?

It's also weird all these issues are occuring at the same time. Are the battery posts and grounding points clean?

I was reading somewhere on the forum the P0410 could be related to the SSV itself. I guess I'm gonna go ahead and buy a new one.

P0410 has nothing to do with the SSV. It's the air pump and it runs during cold startup and produces a very lean condition by injecting air into the exhaust stream. The ECU monitors the front O2 sensor and throws a code if it doesn't look like air is being injected.

DTC P0410

Check that the air pump solenoid and vacuum actuator are working.

Sorry, I was basing that off this comment from a different thread

You can find the mechanical actuators on the midsection of the intake manifold, you can work them by hand and free them up sometimes. Otherwise the intake would have to be removed and any gunk cleaned from around them (or if your brave you could remove them).
