Heat/,temp control not working

The hot/cold temp control is not shutting down the hot air even when the dial is down to the cold side. With a slide control in many cars it usually means the cable became disconnected. I'm guessing this may be an electronic component due to the dial type control. Any ideas? Could it be something beside the control dial?

OK bro.
This is a very common problem.
You shouldn't start a new thread for every question you have, especially common ones.
It's against forum rules, actually.
Try searching for answers before asking questions, and if you have to ask, find an established, related thread.

Thanks Big C. I appreciate the info. First I was told I needed 10 posts in the new member forum before I could post in the other forums. So what better way to do that in posting lots of questions here. Now you tell me it's against the rules....sheeesh. I would think they would give new members a little more latitude. I will however do a search before I post from now on. Thanks again.

Unfortunately the radio was replaced so I don't have the ability to access the temp into on the display as your link suggested. Know any workarounds?

Could the fact that the radio was replaced have any affect on heat/cool controller not working. As per the link Big C posted indicating the original radio buttons are tied into displaying the temp setting, I'm wondering if the person who installed the new radio screwed up. Everything else in the climate controls work. Although I can't tell if the A/C Is actually working because of the hot air blowing, I can hear/feel the compressor kicking on.
