I'm having trouble with getting the ring on the fuel pump. 2005 rx8. We get it on and 5 minutes later it starts seeping out from the fuel pump cap/ring. We've tried it several times. Any advice?

 

There were a couple videos I ended up checking out because I literally replaced mine yesterday. The video stated to make sure that the fuel pump goes back in the exact same way it came out. Make sure everything is lined up. Make sure all wires are placed the original way they came out.

I would check those out and if you are still having issues, then I would check and see if the rubber ring that came with the new Fuel Pump could help. I didn't have to use the rubber ring with my new fuel pump, but I can't speak for you. I'm just suggesting what worked for me.
